Spring and Fall Trip to Northport.
This is a two day overnight event. We will stay at the Sunrise Landing Resort. This is a scenic and relaxed ride and is open to all, including family of RIDE members who might wish to join us by car rather than ride. (In fact, if the weather is bad the trip goes on anyway, even if we have to take the cars up.) We are often joined on this trip by members from other chapters. Also those who can not schedule a two day trip are welcomed to meet the group and ride a part of the day.

You must RSVP for the lodging in advance, the number of rooms available to us is limited. Room reservations are $40 per person. Couples and families will of course have a room together, singles will be assigned a room mate. As Pilgrim always said, you do not have a reservation till I have your forty bucks. 2007 Fall Trip October 20 & 21 Proposed Itinerary The ride leaves from McDonalds Restaurant, Coopersville MI, Exit #16 US-96
		Saturday October 20 8:15 AM Orientation in the parking lot 8:30 AM Wheels Roll 90 miles to Pentwater Restroom break at Twin Lake Park , about halfway to Pentwater. 11:00 AM Pentwater. Lunch at The Brown Bear. Gas up the bikes. 12:00 PM Depart Pentwater. - 65 miles to Arcadia Overlook. Side-trip on Recreation Drive to Noordhouse Dunes area, about 10 miles. 1:45 PM Arrive Arcadia Overlook, scenic point and restroom break 2:00 PM Depart Arcadia Overlook – 62 miles to Leland. Gas stop in Empire, 35 miles beyond Arcadia Overlook. 4:00 PM Arrive Leland, pick up refreshements 4:30 PM Depart Leland - 17 miles to Sunrise Landing 5:00 PM Sunrise Landing, Northport MI - Room assignments, free time, refreshments. 6:30 PM Dinner – Cook-out & Picnic on the Lawn. 8:00 PM Bonfire & Ceremony on the Beach. Sunday October 21 8:00 AM – Breakfast at Sunrise Landing, provided by RIDE GR. 9:00 AM –Depart Sunrise Landing. Gas stop just down the road. Scenic ride through Leelanau County. South via Route 669 to M115, Gas stop. South via the traditional “Inland Passage” route to Coopersville. Gas and lunch stops to be determined based on group and weather. 4:00 PM - Arrive - Grand Rapids, MI
	$40 per person paid in advance is necessary to secure a spot at Sunrise Landing. Space is limited so send in your payment early to: Ride Motorcycle 2437 Okemos Dr. S.E.
